This place is an absolute gem! If you're looking for an authentic experience in the heart of Quebec's beautiful nature, look no further. We stayed in a cozy tipi nestled in the woods, and it was truly a unique experience. The owner, Michel, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He gave us great recommendations for activities and even took us on a boat tour to see beavers. Plus, the option to use kayaks for free was a big bonus. The campsite had everything we needed, and cooking on the firepit was a highlight of our evenings. Truly magical.
There was honestly nothing we didn't like about this place. But if there was one small improvement, it would be helpful if Michel could learn basic English.

Our stay at this unique accommodation was well worth the money. The room, located in the woods, provided a peaceful night's sleep surrounded by nature. The staff at Hebergement De La Montagne St-Roch were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our experience even more enjoyable.
Breakfast offerings could be improved with a wider variety of options.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They provided us with excellent local tips and even took us on a boat trip to watch beavers, which was a unique and memorable experience. the landscape surrounding the hotel was stunning, with beautiful nature to explore and enjoy. The accommodations were clean and well-maintained, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The proximity of the hotel to the highway did result in some noise, especially during the week when there were more trucks passing by. However, this was only noticeable at the main campsite and didn't disturb us in our tipi.

We had an amazing time at this cozy wood cabin surrounded by natural beauty. The host, Michel, was incredibly hospitable and showed us all the features of the cabin as well as nearby hiking trails and viewpoints. The rustic charm of the cabin was delightful, and we especially loved the handmade wooden chairs around the barbecue. The night sky filled with stars was truly a sight to behold. Despite the cabin being close to the main road, Michel's warm and welcoming nature made up for any noise we may have heard. I highly recommend this unique and memorable camping experience at Hebergement De La Montagne St-Roch.

We had a fantastic stay at this unique accommodation! The yurt was cozy and beautiful, with enough space for our group. The wood-burning stove kept us warm throughout the night, and we enjoyed cooking on the portable stove and barbecue outside. The location was stunning, with a river right in front that connected to a wildlife reserve. We loved relaxing on the deck, kayaking, and watching moose and beavers. The hosts, despite the language barrier, were incredibly accommodating and provided everything we needed.
The only minor downside was the language barrier, as the hosts didn't speak English. However, they made up for it with their hospitality and willingness to communicate using other means.

The property was cozy and amazingly clean. Our cottage was missing nothing! The amount of effort and details put into the hotel were unbelievable. The owner was hardworking and responsive, providing tips on what to do and even accompanying us to our private tipi every evening. The location was perfect for a real authentic experience in contact with nature. We enjoyed the opportunity to hike, kayak, and even take a boat tour to see beavers.
There were a few minor inconveniences during our stay. Due to the winter season, the shower and toilet were dysfunctional, but for a one-night stay, it didn't matter much.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
